Wow Matt, absolutely amazing photography! So many great photos! I think I like “Elephant Dream” the best, great contrast with the shaded foreground and bright trees in the background!
Matt, we agree that you are your own National Geographic. Clearly your words could not describe all that you were able to see as a team, and then blest to be able to photograph in that special, creative and patient way. You wonderfully captured the animals, the people and even the still life in all their African splendor. After seeing your shots, life sure seems boring for us city dwellers!
Matt, phenomenal photos! Breathtaking, seriously. Stunning…I think you ought to go be a roving photog for NatGeo!
My two favorites are the Elephant Portrait and the Cheetah Cubs!
And since I was on this photo safari with you, I know how much hard work went into these photos. Kudos!
Excellent use of the lens. You have a great eye. I love how you captured the emotion in many of the animals and the lighting on some of these shots is amazing! Great pictures. Thanks for sharing them with us.
Wow. Wow. Wow!!! Amazing, Matt.. What a beautiful record of your trip. Thanks for sharing!
I was able to view your wonderful photography thru Torrey & Vicky forwarding them to me. WOW…the Lord truly has given you quite a gift. I do hope this is your life’s chosen work.
You know I’m a HUGE fan! I just love your work- you have a special gift of capturing beauty.
Can’t wait to come to one of your huge gallery exhibits someday and say ‘I knew him when…’
I thought I might find some old photos of your watercolors, here, but no. You are alive, Matt. You are alive. And living and breathing and even going to Africa. I know you’ll want to delete this comment, but your work is fucking amazing. As are you.
